Maria holds an MBA from Adelphi University, a BS in Business Management from St. John’s University, and certifications from Harvard, Cornell, and UC Berkeley. Maria serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Harvard Business Review and 3Sixty Insights.  Her certifications include SHRM-SCP and ICF-PCC.     VP OF OPERATIONS

    Annie Scarangella is the Vice President of Operations at Marstella, bringing a proven record of operational leadership across healthcare, private equity, and now corporate strategy.

    Annie began her career in the healthcare sector, where she built expertise in project coordination, data analysis, and strategic operational management. She led market research studies among physicians, analyzed Key Performance Indicators to drive service improvements, and developed data-driven solutions to strengthen community engagement and operational efficiency.

    She then joined global investment firm KKR, where she managed operating budgets for eight locations, coordinated large-scale office relocations, and partnered with cross-functional teams to optimize operations. At KKR, Annie honed her skills in strategic planning, critical thinking, and stakeholder communication, delivering measurable impact across multiple portfolio companies.

    Annie earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University, where she competed for four years as a Division I athlete. While at Brown, she collaborated with students and faculty to organize Healthy Athletes events—overseeing publicity, advising peers, and ensuring the success of high-profile initiatives. She also conducted qualitative research and contributed to academic projects using tools such as STATA, SPSS, and RStudio.

    Currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Arizona, Annie continues to expand her business acumen, leadership capabilities, and strategic insight. Her unique combination of healthcare operations experience, private equity expertise, and data-driven decision-making positions her as a dynamic leader dedicated to delivering operational excellence and business growth.

    Sophia brings a rare blend of discipline, insight, and execution to her role as Vice President of Business Delivery at Marstella. A former Division I softball player at Georgetown University, she knows firsthand what it takes to lead high-performing teams under pressure. Her early experience interning on Capitol Hill and supporting the delivery of C-suite retreats gave her a front-row seat to the priorities that drive organizational success—insight she now channels into helping clients turn strategy into measurable impact.

    Sophia joined Scarangella Consulting at its founding in 2022 and, after graduating from Georgetown in 2023, quickly advanced to Senior Analyst. In that role, she specialized in delivering strategic solutions that helped organizations navigate complexity and achieve sustainable growth. Today, she partners with leaders to identify opportunities for improvement through Marstella’s proprietary insights, implement tailored solutions, and iterate toward outcomes that matter.

    Whether she’s aligning cross-functional teams, removing roadblocks, or driving execution, Sophia excels at turning ideas into reality—and ensuring every project delivers exceptional results.
